Appearance property:White or milky free flowing powder, tasteless or slightly characteristic odor. It is easy to absorb moisture, insoluble in water, acid, alkali and general organic solvents. Water absorbs easily and rapidly expands, but does not form gelatin, good fluidity and plasticity, high compressible, non-toxic and chemically inert. 

Uses:
1.It can be used in wet disintegration and preparation of super disintegrating agent. The application of different particle size products in different adding process affects the disintegration time and the appearance of tablets.
2.As an adsorbent and complexing agent, it can stabilize the active components of the drug and improve the drug release and bioavailability by complexing; the drug release of different particle size products is significantly different. 
3.It can be used as suspension stabilizer to reduce the sedimentation of drug particles and increase the redispersion ability of settling liquid; 
4.The film forming agent and thickening agent for the stereotyped products, emulsifying stabilizer for the cream cream, and dispersing agent for dyes are used.
