Tylvalosin Tartrate, formerly known as acetylisovaleryl tylosin (TAT), is a macrolide antibiotic. The mechanism of action is the same as that of other macrolide antibiotics. It can bind to the nucleoprotein body 50S subunit of Chemicalbook of sensitive bacteria, and inhibit the synthesis and elongation of peptide chain by blocking the transpeptidation and/or mRNA displacement, and affect the synthesis of bacterial protein.
Function of Tylvalosin Tartrate
Tylvalosin Tartrate has antibacterial activity against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus, Micrococcus, Microbacteria, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Aerococcus, Campylobacter, Enteric Chemicalbook Coccus, Streptococcus, Arthrobacter and Clostridium Bacteria, etc.; it also has good antibacterial activity against mycoplasma, and works better at high concentrations; but it has no effect on most Gram-negative bacteria.
