Basic information

Calcium glycerophosphate is a white crystalline powder. Odorless, almost odorless, slightly bitter, with moisture absorption. It loses crystal water at 130°C to form nothing, and decomposes above 170°C. Dissolve in about 50mL water per gram at 25°C. It is more soluble in water when the temperature is lower, and the aqueous solution is alkaline. Citric acid or lactic acid can increase its solubility in water. Almost insoluble in boiling water. Insoluble in ethanol.
